At Crown Braid’s, every appointment is scheduled with intention and precision to ensure a seamless, professional, and respectful braiding experience. Before booking, please carefully review the policies below.

Booking an appointment confirms your agreement with all terms listed.

Booking & Confirmation

  • ·All appointments must be booked in advance.
  • ·An appointment is considered confirmed only after the required deposit has been received.
  • ·Appointments without a deposit will not be held.

Deposit & Payment Policy

  • ·A 35% non-refundable deposit is required to secure all appointments.
  • ·The deposit is deducted from the total service price.

Accepted Deposit Payment Methods

  • ·Credit card via the secure booking/payment link.
  • ·E-Transfer for clients without a credit card.

Clients wishing to pay by E-Transfer must contact Crown Braid’s for payment instructions. An appointment will only be confirmed once the deposit has been received.

Remaining Balance

  • ·The remaining balance is due on the day of the appointment.
  • ·The remaining balance is payable in cash.
  • ·E-Transfer for the remaining balance must be requested and approved in advance.
  • ·Clients paying the remaining balance by E-Transfer are responsible for any applicable fees.
  • ·Failure to complete payment will result in refusal of service.

Cancellations & Rescheduling

  • ·Appointments may be cancelled or rescheduled up to 72 hours (3 days) before the scheduled appointment time.
  • ·Rescheduled appointments must be moved to a date within 21 days of the original appointment date.
  • ·Deposits are non-refundable.

Late & No-Show Policy

  • ·Clients may arrive no earlier than 10 minutes before their appointment.
  • ·A grace period of up to 15 minutes is permitted with prior notice.
  • ·Clients arriving between 15 and 30 minutes late with prior notice will incur a $20 late fee.
  • ·Clients arriving between 15 and 30 minutes late without prior notice may have their appointment cancelled at Crown Braid’s discretion.
  • ·Arrivals 30 minutes or more late will result in automatic appointment cancellation and forfeiture of the deposit.
  • ·No-shows will result in loss of deposit and possible refusal of future bookings.

Hair Preparation

Crown Braid’s does not offer hair washing services.

Clients must arrive with hair that is:

  • ·Washed
  • ·Fully dried
  • ·Properly blow-dried / stretched
  • ·Free of oils, creams, gels, or product buildup

Clients who arrive unprepared may experience delays, additional fees, or refusal of service.

Deposits remain non-refundable.

A blow-dry service may be available upon request for an additional fee.

Hair Extensions

  • ·Clients are responsible for bringing their own hair extensions unless otherwise stated at the time of booking.

Style Selection

  • ·The selected hairstyle is final.
  • ·Style changes are not permitted on the day of the appointment.
  • ·Clients are responsible for reviewing the Crown Braid’s Size Guide before booking their appointment.

Allergies & Scalp Conditions

  • ·Clients are responsible for informing Crown Braid’s of any known allergies, sensitivities, scalp conditions, skin conditions, or medical concerns prior to their appointment.
  • ·By booking an appointment, clients confirm that they have disclosed any relevant information that may affect their service.
  • ·Crown Braid’s is not responsible for any allergic reaction, sensitivity, scalp condition, skin condition, or medical issue resulting from information that was not disclosed before the appointment.

Client Conduct & Environment

  • ·No extra guests or children are permitted unless approved in advance.
  • ·Respectful behavior is required at all times.
  • ·Crown Braid’s reserves the right to refuse service if these policies are not respected.

Final Agreement

By booking an appointment with Crown Braid’s, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to all policies above.

No exceptions will be made.

Required Confirmations

Before completing your payment, please confirm the following:

  • I have read and agree to Crown Braids’ Booking Policies.
  • I have reviewed the and understand that braid counts and row counts are approximate and may vary depending on head size, hair density, and the desired final look.
  • I declare that I have no known allergies, scalp conditions, skin conditions, or medical conditions that may affect my service. I understand that Crown Braids is not responsible for any reaction resulting from allergies, sensitivities, scalp conditions, or medical conditions that were not disclosed before the appointment.
